Entric Services Ltd is an electrical contracting company employing a direct labour force of experienced electricians.

Established in 1993, our team consists of highly experienced engineers each qualified to undertake work in a wide variety of commercial environments.

The Company employs in excess of 40 skilled operatives with the majority of electricians being trained as apprentices in house. Each year we employ a minimum of two Apprentices, and have accomplished this for the last 30 years. We have a long and proud tradition of training skilled electricians who are our biggest asset. Our Contracts Management team are complimented by Estimating and Administration functions at our Mortimer Head Office.

We are an innovative contractor and we pride ourselves in being capable of installing the very latest lighting technologies and electrical systems on projects ranging from £2k to £10 million. Our team of responsible electricians deliver a professional and efficient service that you can trust.

Entric excel in taking a project from the initial tender or Design Brief through to full completion. We deliver all aspects with integrity and our vast knowledge and experience attained over many years.

MEET THE TEAM

John Gratrix

Managing Director

John completed his City & Guilds Electrical Apprenticeship, with Distinction, in 1982. He continued progressing to become a District Contracts Manager. He Joined Entric Services in 1996 as Contracts Manager rising to Contracts Director then Commercial Director before becoming Managing Director in 2019 where he now focuses on Business Development, Client Relationships, Finance & Estimating. It is his Drive & Steer that ensures Entric Services continues to flourish.

Sam Deverall

Contracts Director

Sam joined Entric Services when he was 16 where he completed his Electrical Apprenticeship over 25 years ago. He has additional City & Guilds Qualifications being the ‘C’ Course and Design Course and today he oversees the ‘In House’ Apprenticeship Training employing a minimum of 2 Apprentices per year. Entric have a long and proud tradition of training skilled Electricians who we believe are our biggest asset. Sam is also the Company’s NICEIC Qualified Supervisor who leads the Daily Operations and Contract Management to ensure not only the smooth running of Projects, but most importantly, that all our Projects are Installed to a Good Quality and Tested to the Correct Regulations.

Stuart Simmonds

Contracts Director

Stuart completed his Electrical Apprenticeship back in 1986. He progressed over the following years to Contracts Manager before joining Entric Services in 1999. He has since continued his progression to Contracts Director within Entric Services where he Manages Contracts and Steers the Company with Safe Working Practices to ensure our Workforce are kept safe. He also oversees all our Safety Accreditations including CHAS, Construction Line and Builders Profile along with being active within Thames Valley Training Association.

Ian Honey

Senior Contracts Manager

Ian completed his Electrical Apprenticeship in 1989. He joined Entric Services in 1998 as an Electrician progressing firstly to Contracts Engineer then Contracts Manager before becoming Senior Contracts Manager in 2017. During his progression, he completed his HNC along with relevant Electrical Updates as required. Ian Develops, Designs and Contract Manages Projects through to successful delivery for our regular Clients.

Malcolm Sandford

Contracts Manager

Malcolm completed his Electrical Apprenticeship in 2001. He joined Entric Services in 2001 as a fully qualified Electrician progressing to Senior Electrician in 2007 and then, with training, further progressed to Contracts Engineer in 2018. During this time he gained a vast amount of experience managing Major Projects and managing various teams. He progressed to Contracts Manager in 2020 where he enjoys being able to work more closely with Main Contractors and Suppliers to ensure Projects are completed to specification and within budget. He particularly enjoys bringing his skills into the Planning and Design Phase.

Phil Williams

Senior Estimator

Phil has held various positions and gained vast amounts of experience over the years since he first completed his Electrical Apprenticeship in 1982. He has held a variety of positions ranging from Approved Electrician, Sub Contractor, Planner, Estimator, Contracts Manager, NICEIC/ECA Qualifying Manager before joining Entric Services in 2019 as Senior Estimator. Phil now controls the timely delivery of Entric’s Estimating Service as well as Assisting and Developing Designs through from Tender to Commencement on Site.
